Tips and tricks for Overwatch 2, part 1

I have seen a few tips on social media since the game launched. I thought I would share these with you guys!

PC Settings. These only apply if you play on PC.

  • They recommend playing the game on lower graphics settings so you can see less clutter on the map. I recommend this, it helped a lot for me.
  • In Video, make sure Nvidia Reflex is ENABLED.
  • In Gameplay, make sure Enable High Precision Mouse Input is ENABLED.

Hero settings.

  • Go into Controls and click CHANGE HERO on the far-right.
  • Here you can find many, many interesting settings for each hero. For example, you can set Kiriko’s healing to be “hold to heal”. This lets you deal damage faster, you don’t have to wait until you are out of toilet paper.
  • I recommend just checking them all out when you have the time. It can be a real game changer!

These are the things I found on social media the past few weeks:

  • For Roadhog – get an accurate hook circle.
The hook has a big circle hitbox but before I put this setting on, I could never hook people. I missed almost all of it, because I tried to pre-aim, put the crosshair there and so on.
    • Go to Reticle
    • Set it Circle
      • Show accuracy: OFF
      • Thickness: 1
      • Crosshair length: 50 (max)
      • Center gap: 100 (max)
      • Opacity: 100 (max)
      • Outline opacity: 100 (max)
      • Dot size: 5
      • Scale with resolution: OFF
  • For Kiriko – you can hold to heal.
This can save you in many situations!
    • Go down to HERO
    • And put Toggle Healing Ofuda to OFF.
  • For Sojourn – use right-mouse to shoot and left-mouse to railgun!
At first this felt a little weird but it really helped my railgun aim.
    • Go down to WEAPONS & ABILITIES
    • Click Primary Fire and press Right-Click on your mouse
    • Click Secondary Fire and press Left-Click on your mouse

These are the things I put myself:

  • For Ashe, Ana, Widowmaker – to have toggle zoom:
    • Open her settings
    • Find Toggle Zoom
    • Put it ON
    • Adjust Relative Aim Sensitivity. For me, 40% is good. But they say it’s a different % for everyone.
