Inside Character Options there is a thing called Legacy Movement. And let me tell you dear reader, it is the best thing in Final Fantasy XIV!
With Legacy…
- you can move out of an AOE way easier.
- you don’t have to hold down your mouse to direct your character.
For me, it makes the game way more fun to play!
To try it out: Open Character Settings and put on Legacy Movement.
