You can get all the free items included in the Eternal Bond without ever completing the ceremony in-game. You just have to find someone in-game to do this with. But you don’t have to marry, just run through the quest, takes around 20 minutes.
The characters can be same-sex, there are no restrictions whatsoever. It’s just a short quest you both need to do in a party together and you can get all the benefits without waiting; without going through the actual marriage process and so on.
1. Both of you: Go to https://mogstation.com and go to Optional Items, Eternal Bond (on left) then pick the Standard package – which is free.
2. Pick up the item from a mailbox in-game. If you don’t know any, teleport to Limsa Lominsa, click to the Aetheryte (big blue crystal) and go to Aftcastle. There is a mailbox very close.
3. Put on the bracelets you receive through mail and go to East Shroud and head to the Sanctum. Make sure you are in a party with your friend/person.
4. Do the quest you see at the NPC and then get your free items from the Ceremony Outfitter NPC.
5. Talk to Sanctum Acolyte and drop the quest. Or keep it and then you can buy things from the Ceremony Outfitter. But if you don’t abandon it, just make sure you remember to drop it once you actually want to marry someone in game.
